Bauer Vapor 1X Goalie Stick

Along with the new goal pads and goalie skates, Bauer Hockey is set to introduce the all new Bauer Vapor 1X goalie stick next spring.

The all new Bauer Vapor 1X goalie stick features a composite shaft handle with carbon weave reinforcement. A control zone is introduced in the shoulder which features Griptac in order to provide you with additional grip and feel while playing.

Into the paddle, you will find Balsa core technology. This feature incorporates Balsa wood into the paddle which will help to increase puck dampening properties. The result is an improved feel over the traditional foam core.

Outside of the paddle core there is an Innegra technology fiber woven together with carbon to provide an incredible reinforcement. This setup increases the overall durability of the paddle, while still maintaining the feel of a foam core.

The paddle will also feature Arch Paddle Geometry. This is a unique geometry which creates an optimized balance in stance and puck handling.

Moving into the blade, the Bauer Vapor 1X goalie stick will feature an Innegra reinforced outer wrap for added strength. Inside, you’ll find an Aero Foam 3 blade core which is designed for balance and feel.

The Bauer Vapor 1X stick will come in senior and intermediate sizes. Stock colors include black, red, and navy. Additional colors available for dealers to order are sport gold, blue, green, and orange. You can expect the stick to launch and hit retail store shelves in April 2017.
