Bauer is looking to take their new goalie line to new levels with the introduction of the brand new Bauer Vapor 1X goalie skates. The Bauer Vapor 1X goalie skates will feature some incredible technology, so let’s dive right in and take a look at what they have to offer.

One new feature on the Vapor 1X goalie skates will be the X-Wrap. This is a 3mm extension of the facing which will allow you to stay in an attack position. It also helps to add more wrap for an improved fit.

Another new feature will be the dynamic flex tongue. This molded insert will function like a spring and allow you to have more forward flex. An anatomically asymmetrical profile of the flex tongue will follow the shape of your foot, offering improved lace bite protection as well as a better fit overall.

The Bauer Vapor 1X goalie skates will also feature a lock-fit pro liner. This liner features grip zones in key areas to help keep your foot locked in place. This will help lead to improved fit and performance.

In terms of the overall design of the Bauer Vapor 1X goalie skates, we can see that Bauer will be utilizing a 3D Curv composite quarter package with the X-Wrap. The skate will also have a composite outsole for top notch energy transfer.

Bauer’s new goalie skate will also feature a goalie specific toe cap. The extra strength from this design will be required because the Bauer Vapor 1X goalie skates will feature no cowling. Instead, it’s a beefed up and strong boot with a Vertexx Edge holder and LS3G goalie runner.
