Edge Protech – Goalie Skate Blade Protection

 

The folks at Edge Protech have come up with a nice way to keep your blades in better condition when you’re practicing, warming up, or training at camps.

The tool, best known as Edge Protech, is an easy to use tool. You start out by simply clamping it on the post, and then twisting it into its final fitting place. The Edge Protech will then work with you, rather than against you, to help keep your blades in good condition.

Edge Protech is best used for protecting your blades from striking the post. By eliminating this direct contact, you will see a dramatic reduction in nicks and dull edges on your skate blades. This will also help to improve edge performance.

While the Edge Protech goalie skate blade protection tool may seem very simple, it has been applied by a number of different hockey groups already. For example, it’s used by several clubs during NHL practices and warm ups. It was also used by both Men’s and Women’s teams during the Winter Olympics.
